RARC Meeting Minutes - December 2002
The December meeting of the Rochester Amateur Radio Club took place as part of the annual party, which was held this year at Dos Amigos restaurant. The formal meeting was called to order at 8:04pm, Tuesday 12/10/02, by outgoing President Dave Peterson (K7CJO), with 38 members, family, and guests present.

Committee Reports
- Nominations - Stew (WØSHL):
- The nominating committee presented its slate of candidates for club offices: President, Fred (K4IU); VP, Erik (KFØS); Treasurer, Bob (KCØGND); and Secretary, Peter (N8MHD). The slate was elected unanimously. Stew noted that Dave (K7CJO) has been president for 4 years in a row, and has brought the club back together. We all appreciate his hard work.
The meeting was adjourned at 8:06.
Program
The program consisted of "show and tell" of new or newly acquired equipment. Neil (WØVLZ) showed off his 1928 regenerative receiver, which is part of a 1940's era ham station, and his Elecraft K1 along with a map of QSO's on 20 meters. Steve (WØSTV) had a walking stick with attached antenna, which he uses with a pocket brick for ARES. Dave (KØVH) had an antique D104 mike with a new Heil element. Fred (K4IU) showed his Yaesu 817. And Chuck N2DUP showed QSL cards prepared with Quark and a printer, and proceded to read a Ham version of "Twas the night before Christmas". Overall, a good party and fun meeting.
