RARC Meeting Minutes – December 2008

The annual holiday meeting of the Rochester Amateur Radio Club was called to order by President KariAnn Wiles, KCØWIP, at 7:12 p.m., December 9th, 2008 at O'Neill's Pizza Pub in Rochester. There were approximately 32 members and guests present.

Membership status: 112 club members

 

No old business was discussed and there were no committee reports presented.

 

An election for officers was held by written ballot. The following officers were selected by the RARC membership:

President:Peter Wollan, N8MHD
Vice President:Robert Andrews, KØRDA
Treasurer:Bob Hart, KCØGND
Secretary:Bryan Borland, KCØWIJ

 

Upon the conclusion of the election, KariAnn KCØWIP handed over the gavel to the incoming president and thanked the club for their participation and accomplishments throughout 2008.

 

During the business meeting, KariAnn KCØWIP, and Stan AIØM also recognized several members for their contributions during the year, providing each with a nice Certificate of Recognition.

 

The business meeting was concluded at 7:20 p.m. After the business meeting, the party continued with members and guests socializing, and enjoying the delicious desserts provided by KariAnn KCØWIP.
